Busy Bees (Members Only)

GCM's educational play program offers lots of fun things parents can do together with their children including music and movement, sensory story time, and awesome arts. Hive Time, at 10:30 is new and includes different themes for each week. Best suited for pre-school aged children (ages 1-5) and their caregivers.

Culture of Color – Soil Stories
Tuesdays, 3:30pm
Explore the richness of African American Culture through indoor garden activities. Make crafts with cotton, okra, and other vegetables, read stories, and design our own gardens every Tuesday.
Wee Little Kids on the Ball Program:
Wednesdays, 3:30pm Wee Little Kids on the Ball (ages 3-5 yrs)
Get your kids moving in a fun way using kid-sized exercise balls! Our activities and games focus on a variety of fitness disciplines including balance, coordination, strength, cardio, and flexibility.
No pre-registration necessary.
Simply Story Time

Friday, February 19th, 6:30pm
Dr. Joel Schwartz, author of Noses Are Red, a Humorous and Insightful Guide on How to Nurture Your Child's Sense of Humor, will speak at the Greensboro Children's Museum on 2/19. Parents, learn what child development is necessary for humor to flourish with examples of ways to promote it at home and at school. Free with admission to the Museum, members free, non-members $3.

Calling all parents of pre-schoolers! Representatives from Guilford County Schools and other community pre-K resources will be available to answer questions and give you all the information you need to register and prepare your child for pre-school or Kindergarten. This free, drop-in event is co-sponsored by United Way of Greater High Point Children’s Initiatives, Guilford Education Alliance, Guilford Child Development, Guilford Partnership for Children, Guilford County Schools, Get Healthy Guilford, Guilford Education Alliance, The High Point Museum, the Junior League of High Point, and the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Event is free and open to all parents and families with rising kindergarteners.
