Family Fun with Fibers!

In each hour long class, children and their adult caregivers will investigate the fantastic world of natural fibers.  Entertaining stories and hands on exploration will introduce skills such as finger knitting, felting, basic crocheting and sewing. Minimum children for class to make is 5, so encourage your friends to signup today!

Busy Bees Cook - 3rd Wednesdays

Pre-registeration required!
Busy Bees will rip, stir, knead, and arrange foods from the garden!  We will explore with our five senses the art of cooking.  Each month we will focus on seasonal food, songs, crafts, and stories.

Ages: 3-5 year olds (potty trained)

Topic: Stone Soup Winter time is the right time to prepare soup!  After exploring the garden for seasonal foods, we will warm up with hot cocoa and make soup and bread in our colorful kitchen.  We will chop, tear, mix, measure, & taste in this exciting cooking class!

Saturday February 11, 2012            3rd-5th grade

We Can Grow! Planning Your Family Garden!

Planning Your Family Garden: Families will join the Edible Schoolyard staff for hands-on instruction to plan and care for your home garden.  Content will be based on families' needs.  Children's activities provided.

Sundays, 2pm - 3pm

Growing Up Green

Meet us in the Edible School Yard each Tuesday afternoon!  Activities vary from week to week and may include garden lessons, small craft activities, scavenger hunts, stories, and other seasonal activities.
