Plan a Birthday Party

Plan a fun and fabulous

birthday bash at GCM!

 

Celebrate your child's special day with the fun and imagination only the Greensboro Children's Museum can provide! It will be a birthday experience your child will always remember!

The Birthday Bash includes:

  • GCM admission for the birthday child, their siblings and 15 guests.  Additional children may be invited for $5 each. A guest list is expected on the day of the party.

  • Use of the birthday party room for 2 hours (times available listed below).

  • Adults are free up to 25! Additional adults may be invited for $5 each.

  • We provide the invitations, tablecloths and clean-up.

  • You bring the food, cake, drinks  (no dark juices please), paper products and decorations of your choice.

$120 Members
$175 Non-Members

A non-refundable registration fee is due when the party is booked. Full payment is due 30 days prior to your party. We accept payment with cash, check, American Express, Visa, or Mastercard.

Book A Party

Reservations and a contract are required for a party. You may call Carolyn Tart to schedule or fax the Birthday Party Registration Form above and select your 1st three chioces for dates and times.

Tuesday - Thursday (times can vary-call Carolyn Tart to schedule)

Friday thru Sunday

Friday (5pm-7pm and 5:30pm-7:30pm)

Saturday (9am, 9:30am, 11:30am, 12pm, 2pm, 2:30pm)

Sunday (1:30pm, 2pm)

Party Details

DECORATIONS:

You are welcome to decorate the party room however you would like!  Feel free to bring balloons, hang streamers and party banners (confetti is not allowed). You can pack your party stuff in sturdy boxes or bags. We'll lend you a wagon to help wheel the goodies in and out.

FOOD:

You can bring your own food to serve at the party or you can order pizza for your guests!  The Domino's on Bessemer Avenue has offered to give GCM Birthday Party hosts a discount on pizza orders for your party!  Call 336-272-9833 to order your pizza and enjoy! 

PLANNING: 

The host/hostess may arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled party for setup.  Don't forget to bring your invitation list!

Remember, the children will want to play in the Museum as much as possible. As guests arrive, turn the adults and kids loose. You can use this time to finish setting up. When you're ready, we'll make an announcement over the loudspeakers to bring everyone back to the party room.  Once the party is over in the Birthday Party room you and your guest are welcome to stay and play in the Museum as long as you like.
