The Greensboro Children's Museum is a hands-on, interactive, and educational play place for children ages 0-10 years and their families.  Visitors learn while they play, touch, explore and discover in a variety of “Our Town” exhibits that have been created to stimulate children's imagination and to provide rich play experiences.

Monday:  9:00 AM - Noon (for Members Only)

Closed in the afternoons, NO FIELD TRIPS ON MONDAYS.
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Wednesday/Thursday/Saturday: 9:00 AM– 5:00 PM
Fridays: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM ($3 Admission from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM ($3 Admission)

The Museum will be closed on July 4, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. 

Admission

Adults $6.00
Children $6.00 (children under 1 year old are FREE)
Seniors $5.00
Group Rate $3.00 per person (Must have 10 or more children for the group rate. Reservations required)
On Fridays from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, admission is $3.00
On Sundays from 1:00 - 5:00 PM, admission is $3.00

*  Teachers get in free at GCM!  We want to show our support for educators by offering FREE ADMISSION to all teachers! Teachers show your school ID to receive this special offer.  Standard admission rates apply to accompanying family members, children and guests. Paid programs at GCM not included with regular admission fees, are not included in this offer.


Parking

Convenient and free parking is available at the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Parking is also available across the street in the Church Street Parking Garage (Church St. Parking Garage is free on the weekends.)

Dining

The Museum offers healthy snacks and juice drinks in vending area.

You can eat snacks or lunch that you bring at the tables in the area off the lobby o r you can head outside and eat at the picnic tables in the Museum's Garden area.

If you do plan to eat lunch at the Museum, please call to be sure the tables are not reserved for another group. If you are attending on a field trip and would like to use the tables call for reservations at 336-510-5750.

Our desk staff can provide you with other options for nearby restaurants if you inquire.
