Directions to the Museum

Traveling from Charlotte and Lexington, or from point’s south on I-85:  Traveling north on I-85. Take exit #120 to Business 85N. Take exit 35B- to 220 North/coliseum area.  Merge onto Freeman Mill Road.  Freeman Mill Road becomes South Edgeworth Street.  Turn right onto Market Street. Turn left onto Church Street.  The Children’s Museum is at the second block on the right at 220 N. Church Street.

Traveling from Winston-Salem, Kernersville and west of Greensboro:  Traveling east on I-40, follow signs to Business 40 East to Greensboro. Continue east on business 40 and exit at (Freeman Mill Road).  Freeman Mill Road becomes South Edgeworth Street.  Turn right onto Market Street. Turn left onto Church Street.  The Children’s Museum is at the second bock on the right at 220 N. Church Street.

Traveling from Burlington, Raleigh, Chapel Hill and point’s north on I-85/I-40: Traveling West/South on I-85/I-40, take Business I-40 West at the Greensboro Business split.  Exit at the Elm/Eugene Street Exit #37.  Turn right at the top of the exit ramp.  Turn right onto Market Street. Turn left onto Church Street. The Children’s Museum is at the second block on the right at 220 N. Church Street.

Traveling From Asheboro or points south on Hwy. 220:

Traveling from Danville, Va., Reidsville or points north on Hwy 29. Travel south on Hwy. 29. Merge onto Summit Ave   Get over in the left hand lane and stay on Summit until you get to Church Street intersection. Turn left onto Church St. and the Museum will be on the left at 220 North Church Street.

Traveling from Martinsville, Va., Eden, Summerfield, and point’s north on Hwy. 220. Travel south on Hwy. 220, which will become Battleground Avenue when you are in Greensboro.  Take Battleground Ave. all the way into the downtown area.  It will change to a one way street and become Smith Street.  Turn right onto Church Street.  The Museum will be on the left at 220 North Church Street.
